The Sparrowhawk

I went to the York Ornithological Society's illustrated presentation tonight, to a talk on 'The Sparrowhawk' by the author of the Poyser monograph, and world authority on the species, Professor Ian Newton. It was an excellent and highly informative presentation and was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Maybe more tomorrow...



I also managed to get a couple of my Ian Newton books signed - a good result!

It was good to meet a few more of the local birders too.
