You know you've had a bad day when Greylag Goose is the best bird seen on your site and you've missed it!

I spent the afternoon and evening surveying down in North Lincolnshire and it was incredibly dull with only 1 target species recorded, and I didn't see that! The site has had some really good birds on it previously, but of late it has been incredibly hard work. I'm looking forward to a day in the office tomorrow as I'll probably see as many birds as I had today but at least I'll be warm!
A surveying day to forget!
